Maudie R. Louisiana, DC
Dr. Maudie Louisiana, DC, majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with minors in chemistry and math at The University of Minnesota, Duluth. She studied at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. She also studied endocrinology and bioidentical hormones, Sacro Occipital Technique with SOTO-USA, and is certified in QST. She is an advanced practitioner of QNRT.
Dr. Louisiana first experienced the healing benefits of chiropractic care after she developed severe headaches while in college. She was so impressed with the extreme improvement in her health that she decided to go to chiropractic school. Fast forward several years, she learned that her first pregnancy results included the revelation that she was carrying triplets!
She intently looked for direction from the obstetrics field for how to support herself and her babies through this special need period, but her quest for guidance fell short. Dr. Louisiana and Dr. DeYoung applied all their knowledge and protocols for supporting health with nutritious food, a healthy lifestyle, and stress management. Their three healthy girls were delivered at 32 weeks. Now in their formative years, the triplets have robust immune systems and rarely require a doctor’s visit. Dr. Maudie embraces the provisions to allow bodies to heal themselves, especially with her family.
She also uses her specialized knowledge to help female patients in the reproductive and post-reproductive stages of life. Another area of specialty is to provide protocols to reduce post-injury and post-surgical pain caused by scarring. Her approach has been the key to solving long term chronic pain issues for patients that were not ameliorated even after years of attempted conventional treatments or medications.
